Jennerstown, PA - 83, Jennerstown, died January 8, 2026, at UPMC Somerset. Born April 27, 1942, in Hooversville, son of David and Thelma (Shaffer) Hetzer. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, James and Edward Hetzer; sister, Margaret Bowser; and son-in-law, Robert Gregory. Survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Carol Huzsek; children: Deborah Gregory, Ronald (Amy) Hetzer, and David (Anita) Hetzer; grandchildren: Katrina (Cory) Suder, and Bryan and Matthew (Brigitte) Hetzer; great-granddaughter, Kadence Suder; and sister, Coral Tost. He was a 1960 graduate of Shade High School. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for New Enterprise Stone and Lime. Member of Otterbein Methodist Church, Wilbur. He enjoyed hunting with his son Ronald in Wyoming and loved his dogs Buddie and Lady. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. Wanda Ross officiating.
