MARHEFKA - Ronald P. Sr., 78, of Vinco, went to be with the Lord March 11, 2025. Born April 16, 1946, in Johnstown, son of the late Mike, Sr. and Gen Marhefka. Preceded in death by son, Ronald Jr., and brother, Mick Jr. Survived by wife, Patricia, to whom he was married for 56 years; daughters, Ronna (Mike) Bievenour and Ronelle (Lonnie) Clutter; and grandchildren, Carsten, Dominic, Klaira and Vinnie. Also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews, and many cousins; and special friends, Joe and Mark. Member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Served his country in the Army National Guard. Ron was retired from Bethlehem Steel and was an HVAC specialist. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and collecting toy trains. He loved vacationing, especially at Walt Disney World, and also spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, the Rev. Timothy Harris, TOR, celebrant. Committal, SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Ron's memory.
