Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Sandor - Ronald J., 88, of Bellefonte, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on May 3, 1937, in Johnstown, he was the son of the late John Sandor and Anna Kuharcik. On November 22, 1978, he married his beloved wife, Janet (Kwarta) Sandor, who survives at home after sharing 45 years of marriage together.

Ronald was a 1955 graduate of Ebensburg Cambria High School. He worked for Eastern Airlines in New York and then Florence Mining, where he retired. Throughout his life, he spent much of his time working on the family farm.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by their son, David Sandor (Tatiana Zwerling), of Bellefonte, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Sandor and Joanne Thoben. Ronald was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Ronald was a former member of the Resurrection Parish in Johnstown and was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly 954.

Funeral and burial services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
