Boca Raton, FL - GENOVESE - Samuel Anthony, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2026, in Boca Raton, Florida, surrounded by his family. He was 78 years old. Born on April 22, 1948, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Sam lived a life filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. He had a remarkable gift for making people smile and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. Whether through his quick wit, larger-than-life personality, or heartfelt stories, Sam brought joy wherever he went. Sam's presence could light up a room, and his memory will continue to bring smiles to those who knew and loved him. Though he will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in the countless memories he created and the lives he touched. Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Genovese (Nemetz); his son, Sam Genovese Jr.; his daughter, Trina Genovese Arce; his son-in-law, Pablo Arce; and his cherished granddaughters, Angelina and Sophia. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Donna Palko; his special family friend, Sabrina Bixler Lang; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends; and his beloved dogs, Leo, Charlie, and Sonny, who brought him immense joy and companionship. He was preceded in death by his father, Anthony Genovese; his mother, Ann Genovese (Saccone); his brother, Joseph Genovese; his in-laws, John and Leona Nemetz; and many beloved extended family members. He was a devoted fan of Frank Sinatra and especially loved singing Sinatra songs. His favorite anthem, "My Way," reflected the spirit with which he lived his life: with authenticity, and heart. Sam's legacy is one of laughter, love, loyalty, and resilience.
