Somerset, PA - 92, of Somerset, died November 2, 2025, at The Patriot. Born November 13, 1932, in Portage, he is the son of Samuel and Agnes (Galioto) Tomaselli. Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Joseph and Anthony Tomaselli. Survived by his sister-in-law, Dolores Tomaselli, and nieces and nephews, Annette Bernazoli, Bruce and Anthony Tomaselli, and Therese Wolford. Father Tomaselli was a graduate of Portage High School, he spent two years at St. Francis College, and six years at St. Vincent Seminary and was ordained May 23, 1959. He served as Associate Pastor at St. Agnes Parish in Lock Haven, St. Joseph Parish in Renovo, and St. Patrick Parish in Johnstown. He was Pastor at St. Joseph Parish in Boswell, St. Michael Parish in Listie, St. Gregory Parish in MacDonaldton, and St. Peter Parish in Somerset, where he retired in 2009. He was named Chaplain to His Holiness in 1987, and was a chaplain at the Somerset State Hospital for 22 years. He enjoyed woodworking and artistic painting. Friends received 8-11 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, where a funeral Mass will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with Father Angelo Patti Celebrant.
