Sheila J., 46, passed away early Thursday morning, June 2, 2016, at her home. She was born in Spangler, daughter of Eugene D. and Beatrice (Criste) Hines. She married Joseph M. Crusciel on October 22, 1994, in Cresson. In addition to her husband of 21 years, she is survived by her mother, Beatrice; a daughter, Alexa J. Crusciel of Altoona; a son, Trevor J. Crusciel of Altoona; four siblings, Dennis Hines, and wife, Tina of Loretto; Torianne Boland, and husband, Christopher of Etters; David Hines, and wife, Lori of Loretto; and Gina VanKirk, and husband, Ryan of Dillsburg; father and mother-in-law, Robert, Sr. and Kathryn (Eckenrode) Crusciel; sister-in-law, Lynette Shaffer, and husband, Pat of Cresson; brother-in-law, Robert Crusciel, Jr., and wife, Julie of Loretto; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene D. Hines. Sheila received her bachelor's degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and was employed by Home Nursing Agency as a registered dietician. She enjoyed cooking, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bellwood. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2016, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N. 4th Ave., Altoona, PA 16601. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 623 E. 3rd St., Bellwood, PA 16617.
