Hoover, Stacy A., 47, Sankertown, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 8, 2023 at her home. Born January 13, 1976, Altoona, daughter of John B. and Carol "Bim" M. (Zachesky) Myers Jr. Survived by her parents; husband, Jeffrey M. Hoover, who she married on May 26, 2007; daughters, Briana (Colin) Shable, Cresson; Olivia Hoover, Sankertown; her soon to be grandchild; sister, Kim (Ron) Latterner, NC; John "J.B." (Staci) Myers III, York; sisters-in-law, Jacqueline (Cory) Chappell, Harrisburg; Jeannette (Patrick) Johnston, Cresson; parents-in-law, Michael "Mick" and Nancy Hoover; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her beloved dogs, Rufus and Theodore. Preceded in death by her special cousin, LCpl Ralph J. Fabbri. Stacy received her associates degree in computer management. She was the Vice President of Events and Technology for the Blair County Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. Stacy was a track coach for the Mountain Top Track and Field Club. She was a member of the Sankertown VFW Auxiliary. Stacy enjoyed shopping, always helping others, and spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 9:30 a.m., St. Francis Xavier Church, 211 Powell Ave., Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery, Cresson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defer expenses. Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
