Tammy Reneé Brumbaugh Obituary

Fredericksburg, VA - Brumbaugh - Tammy Reneé, 62, of Fredericksburg, Va., passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2025, after a two-year battle with cancer, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Tammy was born in Fredericksburg, Va., on July 21, 1963, to Gloria Jean Stanfield and Allen Thomas Stanfield. She graduated from Stafford High School in 1981 and from Virginia Commonwealth University, Medical College of Virginia, School of Pharmacy in 1988.

Tammy worked and lived as a Pharmacist in Pennsylvania for 37 years where she greatly impacted her community. Tammy was devoted to her family and ensuring the happiness of her friends and customers - going above and beyond her title to help those around her. Tammy will be remembered for her immense kindness, love, and empathy for others.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Russell Brumbaugh and his wife Hillary; Victoria Brumbaugh and partner Devin Krouse; Megan Brumbaugh and partner Jan-Ralph Zarate; Trevor Brumbaugh, and Harrison Brumbaugh; mother, Gloria Jean Stanfield; brother, Dean Allen Stanfield and his wife Sherrie; and she is forever in the hearts of her nieces, great-nephews and -nieces, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen Thomas Stanfield; paternal grandparents, Dave and Ella Mae Stanfield; and maternal grandparents, John and Lois Monteith.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, December 7, at Elton Zion Methodist Church from 3 to 5 p.m.
