Windber, PA - DELAROSA - Theresa J., 96, of Windber, went to be with the Lord on July 29, 2025, at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Johnstown. Born Nov. 17, 1928, in Windber, daughter of the late Leon and Agatha (Drzal) Wozniak. She was preceded in death by brothers, Eugene, Stanley, Andreas, John and Edward, also by sisters, Angela, Frances, Catherine, Bertha, Josephine and Michaline. Theresa's greatest joy was spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Peter J. Delarosa; daughter, Marie R., married to John Holden, all of Windber; and grandchildren, Michael Holden, married to Noelle, Mars, PA; Marissa, married to Cody Walko, Damascus, MD; and Lindsay, married to Paul Johnson, Martinsburg, PA. Theresa is also survived by six great-grandchildren, who she held close to her heart, Landon, Finn and Bennett Holden; Quinn and Camryn Walko; and Audreigh Holden-Lager. Theresa was a devout Catholic, a faithful life member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church of Windber, where she was devoted to helping in the church kitchen and hall during celebrations and events. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed cooking and sharing meals with her family, especially the traditional Polish Christmas Eve and Easter meals when everyone would squeeze into her kitchen together. Family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 1, at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Windber, with Father Rod. Committal to follow at the chapel of St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery, Windber.
