Windber, PA - 86, Windber, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones October 9, 2025. Son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Betty) Grabish. Preceded in death by parents and his sister Patty Grabish Koposko. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Ann; his sons, Thomas Michael Grabish & wife Suzanne and Richard Joseph Grabish; his daughter, Gina Marie Toomey, and her husband, Bo. Also (Thomas) George Toomey; his cherished grandchildren, Ava and Mica Toomey; and his lovable furbabies, Annabelle and Tuko. Thomas is also survived by his brother-in-law, Anthony Koposko and Michael Zarnesky and sister-in-law, Dorothy Gindlespeger. Together, he and Mary Ann spent nearly 65 years creating a home full of warmth, family, and faith. Their 65th anniversary would have been on October 14th. Thomas and MaryAnn. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he honorably served his country in Korea from 1958-1960, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant. After his service with the U.S. military, he worked with his Uncle, John Carazola Cambria Spring Service in Johnstown afterward in Ohio for Henkels & McCoy telephone lines and later brought his strong work ethic and worked at Lamonica's Bakery and Schmidt Baking Company retiring after 25 years. His passion for community connection shone through as a long-time member of the Men's League Bowling Team at Richland Lanes, where he built lasting friendships and plenty of memories. A gifted chef and baker, Tom found joy in the kitchen and in the garden alike. His love for growing plants and creating beautiful landscaping was evident to all who visited his home. Together with his beloved wife, Mary Ann (Zarnesky) Grabish, he co-owned and operated Schrader Flower Shop, where their creativity and dedication flourished. Their work also took them across the United States as they participated in floral conventions, blending business, adventure, and friendship along the way. Deeply rooted in his Catholic faith, Tom found daily strength and comfort through EWTN and prayer. Love and respect to those that supported Tom including, Dr. Maharajh, Dr. Reddy, Dr. Metha, Indiana, Windber Hospital as well as Windber Hospice. Tom will be remembered for his kind heart, strong faith, the beauty he created both in his gardens, enjoyed being an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and in the lives of those he touched. His legacy of love, hard work, and faith continues to bloom in all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of Panachida at 11:00 am, Tuesday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home, Windber.
