Walker - Vernon W., 64, of Upper Yoder, died suddenly on February 22, 2025. Born December 28, 1960, in Johnstown, son of Robert Walker and Shirley (Killinger) Statler. Preceded in death by his father. Survived by his loving wife Karen (Adams); children, Erica Stahl (Michael), Megan Kuhn (Adam), Brian Walker (Miranda), Matthew Walker (Justine); grandchildren, Audrey and Henry Stahl, Colt, Adaline, and Eleanor Walker, and Olivia Kuhn. He was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School and a graduate of St. Francis University receiving a BS in Accounting. Vernon was the CFO for Johnstown Area Heritage Association. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He loved spending time with them. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends received from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel, 15905. Funeral Service will be held Friday at Homestead United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025. Private interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
