Johnstown, PA - AMENTI - Virginia A. "Gigi," 98, passed surrounded by her family on Aug. 16, 2025. Born Sept. 16, 1926, to the late Ralph and Josephine (Notich) German. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Marion N. Amenti; sisters, Marie Fox and Matilda German; infant brother, David German; and son, Sam Amenti. Survived by her children, Larry Amenti (Cindy) and Anna Yanko (George); grandchildren, Dawn Dunbar (Jeff), Sam Amenti (Marsha), Corey Amenti (Lori), Amanda Hearn (Greg), Jayme Migyanka (Josh), and Carley Yanko; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jeffrey, Hallie, Kira, Addy, Keagan, Braylan, Emery, Conlan, Maddox, Paxton, Liam, Caleb, and Benson; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Amenti. Virginia was a dedicated nursing supervisor at Mercy Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Alter Rosary and the Ladies Auxillary through Daisytown Firehall.
