Johnstown, PA - "Red", was born on Sept 2nd 1927 and passed away on July 2nd 2025 at the age of 97. Son of Ignatius and Marlene (Kabo) Budney. Preceded in death by parents, sister Edie and wife Mary.

Survived by son Gary Budney (Lydia Sosa) of Chester NJ and their daughters: Melanie (husband Christopher Fox), Maria, and Arielle Budney (fiancé Helder Correia). Survived by daughter Marlene Singer (Doug) and children Kayla Boslet (Cory) and their daughters Kaelani and Kaesyn; Dana Miller (Joshua) and their children Carter, Zayden, and Hallie; and Ian Singer (Jessica) and children Nicholas, Michael, Jacob, and Lucas.

Bill was a navy veteran of World War II, a member of American Legion Post 0294, and supporter of veteran's initiatives. Retired from Acme Markets, the City of Johnstown, and an avid fan of local and Pittsburgh sports.

Faithful and lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Friends received at Francis Ozog Funeral Home on Broad Street on Monday July 7th from 3pm-6pm with service following at 6pm by Pastor Toby Holland.
